PART 1: Conducting a Survey for a Bar Graph & Pie Chart

For this question, we are looking for more than just a simple choice between the two. Take

time to compare both graphs carefully. Consider which graph makes the data easier to

understand, whether one misrepresents or distorts the information, and how clearly the

labels, scales, or categories are shown. You should also think about which graph helps you see

patterns or trends more clearly. Once you decide which graph is more effective, explain your

reasoning in complete sentences. Be specific and use examples from the graphs to support

your answer.
