In this presentation, I will be expressing the shared them of love and un-containment. My first piece of art is an Abstract Expressionism period Enamel on canvas titled Autumn Rhythm. It was created by Jackson Pollock in 1950 with dimensions of (8 ft. 9 in. × 17 ft. 3 in. (266.7 × 525.8 cm) and is kept at American, Cody, Wyoming 1912–1956 East Hampton, New York. The second piece of art is another Baroque period oil painting titled The Entombment of Christ. It was created Caravaggio in 1602–1603 with the dimensions of 300 cm × 203 cm (120 in × 80 in) and being kept Pinacoteca Vaticana, Vatican City. The contemporary painting of choice is title Beulah's Garden in 2018 by Abe Odedina. It is also an Acrylic on plywood with the dimension of 122.2 x 122.2 cm created in the present period and is in London.

The Autumn Rhythm and The Entombment of Christ are the paintings of choice for the class project. The two paintings show human languages, symbolic systems and development of human cultures. Autumn Rhythm and The Entombment of Christ artist are telling different stories. Visual representations symbolically of Autumn Rhythm depicts the Pollock has created this piece his with feeling by relinquishing all conscious control of his work with the notion of deserting individual power. The Entombment of Christ depicts a more religious and controlled environment that shows the views of the artist view of Christ death. Even though the view to others may seem a bit confrontational there was order. The different pieces showed two different views of how artist is motivated for their creations. In my contemporary choice Beulah's Garden, is an inspiration inspired by magical realism and oral traditions of African art, Greek and Yoruba mythologies. The scene showing discoloration of the woman siting as if she is expecting something was authentic for art enthusiasts.

After looking at the three different pieces and compared them to see what they had in common I noticed that they were basically totally different. In The Entombment of Christ has a more religious view. In Autumn Rhythm (Number 30), the artist relinquished all restraint and gave us a unique creation. This piece came from the view of freedom through the eyes of the artist. In Beulah's Garden, the views were supposed to show us a mythical insight. If there is any similarity in the three pieces, it would be the realizations of the heart of the heart of the artist at the time it was created.
