Peer5 Positive feedback can have a strong and positive impact. Please highlight something specific you liked in your peer's work. Let them know what was done really well and why they might want to continue doing that in their future work.
Nice start! You clearly were able to state the theory. You have a great understanding of the format and information your essay should consist of. A follow-up that can be used is also present in your essay and how it can be useful.
Now it’s time to give constructive feedback. If your peer was going to change just one thing about their work, what change would improve it the most? And what are some ways they might go about making that change? Please remember everything you have learned about giving constructive feedback when you write this, and try your best to deliver your suggestions in a helpful tone that will minimize the triggering of a fight/flight reflex.
Your essay should be about one of the two articles provided to you which you can find under assignments, and not about anything that strays further from the article! Remember, you are to summarize one of the articles in your own words. Your essay does not consist of a clear and concise description of what the variables may consist of and correctly depict whether they are independent or dependent. The independent variable should be the variable that is being manipulated. The dependent variable should be a measure of the independent variable manipulation, so previous experiences are not a measure of what the researchers manipulated. Ensure that you have listed the various research methods used to address the hypothesis. Then, state what the results were from the methods and if they go with or against the hypothesis. With your experiment, don't forget to mention how it relates to the research of the article and how it could contribute to it. Simply stick to the article provided, your format is great and remember to have key information in your essay, and you'll be fine!
