Thesis- Matthew Allen didn't reinvent himself, instead he escaped from his problems which caused his family to suffer and because he didn't face his problems he is unable to move forward.

Main Point 1 - Retention is an act of always changing to learn new things and has a positive connotation because it gives people a chance to move forward and do better things.

● Definition- Reinvention is an act of always changing to learn new things which are related to the goals we have. Being able to realize who we need to be and eliminate bad habits.

● It has a positive connotation because it gives people a chance to do something better. Everyone needs a chance to show their potential and move forward.

● Eliminating bad habits means forgiving the bad things you have done in the past which allows people to start a new life.

● Forgiving the past allowed them to not be afraid of their own guilt. ●

Main Point 2 - He did not reinvite himself because he didn’t want to improve himself but he was just trying to escape his problems which caused his family to suffer.

● Matthew Allens faked his death and tried to create a new identity. He was later caught by police.

● Instead of trying to face reality of life he tried to trick himself into thinking he was making thing easier for himself

● He didn't make himself a better person because he was running away from problems which were selfish.

○ He was only thinking himself not about others ○ He pulled his own family into his problem. It makes them suffer. ○
