How does this quote resonate with you?

This quote resonates with me because I feel as though principals never have enough time in the day and that every day is totally different. I think that this quote means if you stick to a schedule everyday you will get more accomplished. Obviously there will be times when there is a situation that needs immediate attention, but I think that if there is a schedule that can be followed pretty regularly, the principal can get more accomplished. For example, there may be times when a principal needs to return a phone call to a parent, but that does not have to happen immediately. There can be time set aside during the day to do these types of tasks, and some days will require more than others. 

Have you already experienced this in your internship, or perhaps observed it in your school?

I have already observed the constant interruptions that my principal has to endure. Even in planning meetings, her walkie goes off several times within that hour. I think she does a pretty good job of delegating and knowing if the distraction needs to be handled now or later. 

What does it mean to you to have greater freedom because you have control of your time? Give some examples where you have found this to be true.

I think it means that I will have more freedom to be out and about in the school if I can control my time. It is very hard to determine how to spend your time as a principal, but I think that if I can delegate properly and keep to a pretty consistent schedule, I can accomplish more than if I were to just take everything day by day.
