Assignment 3

Reflective Essay

Due date:

Week 12 Turnitin Friday 5 pm

Weighting:

40%

Length and/or format:

2000 words

Purpose:

Reflect on the impact of the knowledge and discussion of the unit as it applies to the individual.

Using the information, you learnt about yourself in all the Self-Assessment tasks, the Challenge activity, and Leadership Instruments in the textbook, write a reflective essay of about 1500 words about what you learnt about your capability as a leader.

What is different about this essay compared to others you may have written at University is that you have not been asked to write an essay summarising the content of the unit (or parts of it). What you are required to write about is what you can envisage you can do with the content of this unit to become a wise leader. Put in different words, we are asking you to demonstrate the ways in which this unit is of benefit to you as a future leader. You may also find it useful to write in the first person rather than the normal third person
