Due Date: 11:59 p.m. EST, Sunday of Unit 7 Points: 100 Overview: For this assignment, you will evaluate four (4) different children’s book authors or illustrators of realistic or contemporary realistic fiction and then answer a set of questions. There are 20 questions included, each worth 5 points.
Instructions:
• First, select any four (4) realistic fiction authors or illustrators (some resources are provided in the unit).
• Then, in the assignment link in Blackboard, answer the following questions using complete sentences for each author/illustrator you chose:
o Name of author/illustrator, date of birth/death, residence. o How they have integrated their own life and experiences into their books. o Names of three books that they’ve written and or illustrated. o Name of any awards or distinctions earned. o Describe something about their work that appeals to you.
Requirements:
• Use your own words and include the in-text citation for any resources you may use when answering some of these questions.
o For example, if you are citing your textbook, use the in-text citation: (Kiefer & Tyson, 2019) and the reference: Kiefer, B. Z., Tyson, C. A., Parsons Barger, B., Patrick, L. & Reilly-Sanders, E.
