This is what my mentor, Mr. Lu Qiang, told me. He is an artist who graduated from the oil painting department of the Central Academy of fine arts. Also, he is a senior teacher of handicraft model and the successor of new face sculpture. He was a guest lecturer of Beijing Women's college and a senior professional film director. There is an old saying in China that “knowledge is not burden”. The meaning of this sentence is the more skills people learn, the better. I think this sentence can probably describe Mr. Lu Qiang himself. I have learned many skills with him, such as painting how to use computer software for making. But as far as I'm concerned, I think the prerequisite for creation is to master and skillfully use basic operations. Only through continuous progress and learning can we integrate our own experience and feelings of art and creation. I also had a stage of confusion. At this stage, Mr. LV Qiang has been guiding and encouraging me. Let me share some of his views and opinions on creativity. He told me: "the concept of the source of creativity is very broad. But from my personal point of view, I focus on two things. The first point is to learn painting, because painting has a unique feature, you have to innovate. This is the technical condition for the survival and development of art. Otherwise, you will become a simple plagiarist, or even a plagiarist. It's a hopeless thing, so it's like inertia thinking.
