A licensing company has approached the university’s president to offer its services. In contrast, the president is curious about administering a licensing program within the institution. The president asks you to write a memo advising the university to use or not use the licensing company.

Prepare the memo, citing the advantages and disadvantages of the using the licensing company versus administering your own licensing program within the institution; conclude with a recommendation for action. You may use the format shown below.
