This unit discussed three different instructional design models: ADDIE, SAM, and the Dick and

Carey model. However, there are many more models that you should at least be familiar with.

This assignment tasks you with locating and investigating other instructional design models.

Using an Online Library and the internet, search for more instructional design models, and

compare and contrast two different instructional design models (i.e., two models other than

the SAM and ADDIE models) against the Dick and Carey model.

Your paper should focus on the similarities and differences of the components that make up

each model. In your closing paragraphs, identify which model you feel (after your thorough

examination of each) is most effective, and briefly explain why.

You are required to use at least two outside resources for this assignment.

You should use tables, charts, or infographics (or any combination of those) to help to visually

express your points or illustrate the various models you have found, but these images should

not contribute to the minimum page count of three pages (this minimum length requirement

also does not include your title and reference pages).

Adhere to APA Style when constructing this assignment, including in-text citations and

references for all sources that are used. Please note that no abstract is needed.
