For this Assignment you will write an 800-word essay outlining the history and evolution of cybercrime. Research the history of cybercrime from 1960 to today and provide an answer to the following questions:

1) Explain how the definition of cybercrime has evolved over the past half-century.

2) Explain what is meant by the “new cyber-criminal”.

3) Differentiate between cybercriminal activities in each of these eras:

· 1960s–1990s: The Early Days of Computer Crime

· 1990s–2010: Organized Crime

· 2010–Present: Modern Attacks

4) What is digital evidence? Provide three examples of digital evidence.

5) What is hacking?

6) How was hacking made to be illegal in 1986?
