Your task Your task is to create a resource for your study at TAFE and for future use as you enter the

electrotechnology industry

For this research assignment you are required to complete the following:

 Collect information from material, tool and machinery suppliers

 Present the information neatly in a portfolio

1 - Suppliers required You are required to find two suppliers for each of the following:

 Electrical accessories – Cable, conduit, hardware, socket outlets, lights etc

 Hand and power tools – Pliers, screwdrivers, shovels, drills, grinders, masonary and timber tools

 Sand – River sand, bags of cement, concrete

 Metal – Angle steel, sheet steel

 Workwear – Clothing, boots

 Safety – Barricades, signage, personal protective equipment (PPE)

 Elevated work platforms – Scissor lifts, boom lifts

 Excavation – bobcat, excavator, trenching machine(Dingo/Ditch Witch)

 Concrete Cutting – Chasing, Core drilling
