Goals/Objectives
Students will show the story interest by making their own coconut tree. They will be able to recognize certain letters.
Students have trouble recognizing the letters.

Students will be able to have a book with the letters in front of them to help. Having an IPad can help with touching the letter and hearing what letter it is. They can then try to match the letter on the IPad and the letters they have for the tree.
Students will show interest and pleasure in the story by playing a rhyming game. Students will be able to make a rhyme with some letters.
Student will have trouble rhyming two words.

1. Pair students up with a partner.
2. Give multiple examples of rhyming.
