Based on the flowchart options available to you and the content of the OIP you are building, which type of flowchart has features that suit your OIP? Describe specific features or aspects of your chosen flowchart that match your needs, and compare these features to those found in some of the other options.

This chapter shows how you can create a simple flowchart in Excel. More complex flowcharting tools are available from Microsoft Visio, SmartDraw, iGrafx, and others. You may be able to download and use free trial copies of the software for limited periods of time.
