Two Side of Truth for Comfort Women

Intro

In the society, Comfort women has been discussed in the world. Especially, Korean comfort women by Japanese imperial army is one of the biggest issues. In Japan, recently many young generation allow many Korean culture such as K-pop, K-drama, and food. However, the discussion of comfort women caused to create many haters against Korean. On the other hand, Japanese people had not discussed comfort women before seeing via Media. The comparison of perspective for comfort women during the WWII can show that how they perceive comfort women issue through the perspectives of Korean and Japan. In Japan, many students do not learn comfort women in school. According to Asano, many of Japanese students cannot learn the comfort women because Japanese government have eliminated the information in textbooks.[1] The lack of knowledge causes more discrimination and misunderstanding between Korean and Japan.

1. The perspective of Japan for comfort women.

a. People cannot access the information of comfort women by political issue.

b. People believe manipulated information in Japan. It is the limited information and knowledge.

c. More hater has been increased because of comfort women issue.

d. The bias information which Japan payed the compensation for the victims of comfort women or not. Also, Japanese government have not apologized in formal.

2. The perspective of Korea for comfort women.

a. People can access the crucial information for comfort women during the WWII. The government have kept the document as evidence.

b. Young generation can access real voice from the victims.

c. The money from Japan is not enough for victims. Also, the compensation was changed into lower by Japanese government.

3. Conclusion

a. The two-different information between Japan and Korea cannot be corresponded because the document is limited. The experience from the victims might be different from truth.

b. Both governments keep some evidence for political issues.

c. It is the crucial issue which shows that prostitute exist in the society and solution in the future.
