Types include-original dramatic treatments, treatment of true stories, adaptation treatments
Helpful as story development as well- remember a script is one step to the film as the treatment and scenogram are to the script

Cover page with title, writer’s name and contact information, WGA registration number, a short logline
Introduces key characters, who, what, when, where, why in the three act structure.
It is the short story form, written in present tense, of your scenogram.
Active voice, present tense, avoid “next we see”
Titles
It is the first contact with the reader, producer, etc.
Title should reflect genre
