Refer to pg. 13… Is this a treatment group or task group, etc.? Provide a summary of your proposed group. What is the reason for this group? What areas will be covered in this group?

Refer to pg. 111, what are the characteristics of the members? What characteristic composition will your group have?

How will you recruit members? How will you orient members?

Research and find an evidence based intervention that will be implemented in this group. Provide an explanation of the intervention Provide APA citations for this.

What would the cost be to hold his group? Is transportation provided? Would childcare be provided? What other information should I know about?

Part II: Example of Contract Provide an example of the treatment group contract you would have your group leaders sign. Make sure you discuss informed consent and confidentiality. Refer to example on pg. 181 in Toseland & Rivas textbook. Part III: Video You must also include a 3-5 Minute role-play video on how you would introduce, explain and start the group proposed. This will allow you to demonstrate your skills in beginning a group. You will use Kaltura link to open it and record and upload your video. You do not have to include anyone in the group… just focus on your skills introducing the group. Part IV: Reference List Should be in APA format and on a separate sheet of paper. Must have at least 2 scholarly articles, other citations can be a reputable website.
