The project serves as an opportunity to learn about culture, communication mannerisms, conflicts and media, food and art/music in London, Italy, or France. Pick one country.

Research and organize in a six-page paper with a separate works cited page (APA Format):

Basic History (be brief on this; the focus should be communication)

Political Climate and Economic Climate (provide an example from the news)

Communication Mannerisms

Collectivist or Individualistic

Family

Organizational roles (business)

Gender

Age

The language(s) of the country

The religion(s) of the country

Examples of the music/art scene, food; special holidays, rituals, people, notable organizations or events. Please include findings from travel blogs and magazine articles. You do not have to cover every one of these, but at least 2-3.

The relationship of the country with the US

Media in the country with one example of a station or publication

A major conflict in the country (notable findings)

For research please include: a works cited page (APA format) with at least 10 references. Consider scholarly journal articles, newspaper/magazine, videos, books, blogs, podcasts, documentaries etc.

Please do not exceed ten pages. You will have to edit because covering a country in a 6-10 page paper is impossible. Focus on the aspects that interest you more and cover the basics briefly for the reader to gain perspective.
