Training Strategies
INTROUCTION
a. Employee training is the solution for many struggling businesses today.
b. Understanding different training strategies will help identify the appropriate training method to improve employee performance, reduce turnover levels, improve productivity and enhance organizational culture for business success (Rodriguez & Walters, 2017).
c. There are many effective training strategies to improve an organization’s performance and avoid unnecessary costs.
BODY
a. There are many strategies of employee training to create happy and productive workforce:
i. Instructor-led training strategy involves a class setting approach where the trainer can answer and clarify unclear issues and direct trainees to more resources (Halawi, & Haydar, 2018). The approach is effective, particularly when handling complex topics.
ii. Stimulation training strategy is provided using virtual reality devices or computers and is usually suitable for workers in risky fields.
iii. Hands-on training is done directly in the workplace and focuses on the employees’ individual needs to help them perfectly fit into their role or prepare for the upcoming responsibilities (Hussein et al., 2021).
iv. According to Bharthvajan & Kavithav (2019), coaching involves mentoring an employee and it allows asking questions, and clarifications one may be uncomfortable asking in the instructor-led training approach.
v. Lecture-style training involves training many employees at the same time and can be valuable when communicating needed information quickly, especially to new employees and during orientation (Reynolds & Dolasinski, 2019).
vi. Group activities and discussions approach let multiple employees train at once, in a surrounding that better suits their groups or departments.
Conclusion
a. Confirming thesis that there are various training strategies
b. Summarizing the paper including how different strategies fit in different settings
c. The author’s point of view is that training strategies ensure a happy and productive workforce for organizational success.
