RE: TRAINING ON HOW TO ANSWER A BUSINESS CALL

A business call serves as one of the most important parts of communication in an organization. Business calls are core foundations for various business activities that open way for the transaction of business deals between a customer and the management. As a result, there is dire need to train the employees who are working in public service jobs such as receptionists, clerks and office secretaries the importance of answering calls made by the customers of the particular business ( Morganstein, Mehta, Krakau, Milsted & Klecka, 2013).

Business call training makes the clients working with the company phone calls more comfortable to use the phones as well as how to make the communication simple and clear to understand. It is therefore essential to train the workers in the organization about how to answer calls made by their customers in order to bring fast and convenient communication between employees and the customers of the company. The fleet trucking company has got diverse sectors and departments which contain various activities combined. Thus, there are many communications scenarios between the staff members, suppliers and the customers that require a better training on how to effectively communicate to one another by observing ethical codes of conduct, respect, and courtesy. This will help to bring peace and development to the organization. The training on how to make business calls shall not take since it is simple to learn the fundamental ideologies of conversation which are easy to use when speaking (Morganstein, Mehta, Krakau, Milsted & Klecka, 2013).

As a result, the training can only take not more than two weeks for all the staff members to be taught how to adequately communicate thereby making clear and resourceful business calls to the customers. The training can take place at the break hours during the shifts and also during mid-breaks such as tea and lunch hour breaks. This will help to instill a better communication thus ensuring that every customer is satisfied with the information he needs when he makes a call to the organization regarding a business activity.
