Virtual Training
Technology incorporation in training will make it more successful. The blended learning initiative combines technology and in-person training through videos, audioconferencing, and zoom meetings. However, it is essential to consider several reasons, including trainees' views on blended learning and its effectiveness in training.
Training will be introduced physically to enhance the trainer and trainee relationship. Afterward, the training will be conducted in a blended learning setting a day for face-to-face learning. Due to the difference in time structure where the train is committed in the daytime, the training will be conducted virtually through asynchronous communication (Lu et al.,2018). The nonreal-time communication will enable the trainee to catch up with the training session later than the live session. They can comfortably take notes and read comments from the previous sessions. Virtual live sessions and the recorded sessions can be accessed through zoom with a private username and passcode to avoid information leakage.
The final project needs extra effort and evaluation of the trainee. This entails face to face setting; thus, blended learning will only be carried out in the other sessions apart from the last meeting. The virtual training sessions are expected to show maximum cooperation, integration, and trainee engagement (Lu et al.,2018). The training session will have non-training sessions where games will be played virtually, and the trainees are required to integrate for more cohesion in their teams. After virtual sessions, the trainees will engage in the Kahoot application to answer multiple answers to questions based on the learning session. This will evaluate their understanding and engagement in training.
Other learning tools such as simulations and tutorials will be incorporated into the blended training sessions. The trainer is expected to offer live tutorials and instructions on the field approach (Lu et al.,2018). This will equip the learners with the required skills. Questions proforma and tests will be offered during the last session. The final session will be a face-to-face concluding chapter.
