This project requires the development of a training program for an organization, involving the identification of a training need, the specification of the KSAOs (knowledge, skills, abilities and other personal characteristics) to be learned, the level of proficiency to be achieved, training contents/topics, training methods and methods of evaluation to be used. You are encouraged to develop a training program for a volunteer position for the organization for your employer, a school, hospital, Salvation Army, United Way, etc. Please consider selecting a training need that is of interest to you and perhaps your employer. This training project is to allow you to gain experience developing a short training program OR you could also describe an existing training program, critique it and describe in detail how you would improve it. An example of a Training Program Plan is available under “Files” on Canvas for your consultation.
