A brave woman always surprises the world as seen from the incidence of firefighting. The concept of parents warning girls from taking risks has instilled fear in them hence growing with a perspective of being timid and hopeless within the society. For the girls to grow as brave individuals in the society, Caroline asserts that they need to be encouraged on having adventures and taking risks as boys do. According to her speech, bravery is learned and should be practiced. It is the mandate of the parents to encourage girls to be brave. They should stop cautioning them about some of the risks that instill fear in them. Instead, they should encourage them to be brave in order to face the future with bravery.

Based on the speech, it is clear that bravely requires courage. The sentiments of the author can be supported in that bravery can be learned through practice. Practice instills courage and takes away fear. It is through risky behaviors that we get to be courageous to face some of the difficult situations in life. Some of the jobs are very challenging, and it is through them that we can achieve some of the life goals due to the experience that we gain. Caroline has practiced many adventures, and it is through them that she has learned how to be healthy and brave in life. The world today has posed challenges that requires bravery. However, not only girls should be considered under this situation of bravery but also the boy child. Exclusion of one gender creates biases. Gender equality is always encouraged and to achieve that, the author should consider engaging the boy child within the speech. Here, we find that there are difficulties that a boy child goes through and are similar to the ones the girl child.

Neglecting one gender in this speech is discouraging, and the author should have engaged both genders within the conversation. The question for the speech could be, how will the boy child be encouraged when faced with demeaning situations? To answer that, precise observation of the behavior of the boy child is required in order to address the challenges. Therefore, it can be elucidated that the bravery of a child can be improved by exposing the child to various adventures, guidance, and activities that would strengthen the will of the child. This concept meant to instill resilience and confidence in the child.

Discussing about the essence of being bravery, it is worth noting that not only bravery is the root cause for women who rise to be recognized within the society but also other traits that defined the behavioral characters of the person. Girls need to be taught other values besides being bravery. The concepts of self-respect and self-esteem have an adverse impact on the way people will be able to interact with other and associate well with them. The girl-child should be willing to go through hardships that strengthens her confidence. The corporate world today has based more focus on mentoring the girl child only. Sooner or later, it will be evident that the boy child needs also to be counsel on matters discipline. Without discipline, it will be difficult for everyone to associate well. Additionally, as Caroline’s put it across, parents should exercise being brave in order to motivate their children to always exercise bravery. The fact that we are morally upright encourages the children’s to emulate their parents. Therefore, there is a need of ensuring that we do not only focus on how to ensure girls are taught how to be brave, but also ensure they are taught on how to behave. To sum up, it can be alluded that there are various ways that can be employed in order to ensure girls grow up as brave children. The aspect of being mimicked and considered as weak being should be dealt with since bravely calls upon resilience and getting out of the comfort zone as well as finding personal confidence. The society needs to recognize the girl child and that will ensure that they grow up being brave.
