I have no idea what your 1st choice means; also, it looks way too big and way too complicated for a 6-8 page paper. If you want to write about how orcas are becoming more violent, that could be a good topic to write about. Please remember that you first need to validate that this problem is a legitimate one. Then I would narrow the topic considerably--consider where this is happening and for how long (how recently has this been happening). In other words, narrow it to a 6-8 paper and not a 60+ page report. Most importantly, what are the causes for orcas becoming more violent, and what are the solutions to it.
