Topic: Autism and it is detection in children

Rationale:  Autism has always been one of the diseases that has caught my attention, it is a condition that harms many children, and despite the advances in science in more than 90% of those who suffer from it, the cause is unknown. Because the United States is the country with the highest prevalence of autism (1 in 54 children are diagnosed with this disease), I believe it is very important to train parents from the stage of pregnancy, so that they are alert to all possible symptoms that may occur. I think that workshop and seminars to educate parents would be of great importance, since many ignore what are the traits that these children present and do not give them the necessary therapies, nor do they seek the help of a professional. I am a true devotee that TV advertisements play an important role to teach people about autism since: “Undoubtedly, the media are today’s key and fundamental actors in culture and society. They affect the co-construction of social meanings, of representations, of stories of the real”.
