4 Job Search Log

When the services you provide include finding employment, the customer must be taught how to conduct the job search, what resource are used, how to access the resources and how networking plays are very important part of the search.

The following items required to be taught during job search training:

Researching businesses unmet needs related to employment goal. Using Job Websites and Employer Job Boards for searching for jobs related to employment goal. Networking with individual who may know about an unposted employment opportunity. Registering and using WorkinTexas.org to search for jobs.

The Job Search Training PDF explains the required training for Job Searching. After reading the PDF, complete the assignment below.

 Assignment Instructions

1. Develop or research samples of Job Search Logs. Share the link to the job search log or the actual document in your post to the Discussion Board.

2. Using a descriptive narrative format, document two ways in which the log you chose, would be beneficial for customer’s you serve.

3. Respond to one classmate’s post, providing constructive feedback concerning the job log they posted and the statement they provided (just stating you like their job log will not be counted for points). If the job log is the same as the one you posted, please respond to another classmate with a different job search log. Do not use the log provided to you in the unit as an example.
