I believe that modern technology has brought more good to the society as opposed to the bad things. Technology has improved the level of sophistication in human life. In our modern society people cannot deny that many changes and advancements which have been witnessed are tied around technology. The fact that technology has been evolving with time, it has triggered the development of society as time goes by. The advancement in technology has changed the things which people deemed luxuries to necessities. It is quite unfortunate that most of the people who are affected by the changing technology are the younger generation (Englander, 2012). In the last one and half decades’ children kept themselves busy on the playground embracing a lively and active lifestyle.

Activities which children used to practice include; climbing trees, running around, and playing other outdoor games. This is opposed to modern day children who do not get involved ion much playing ground activities. In the modern society children are not practicing outdoor activities. The improvement of technology in from the previous generation to the modern has been critical to the change of children’s way of life. The modern day child is found doing much of watching television and playing video games. The use of the modern technology has brought on board many virtues which individuals can embrace. It has increased the rate of cognitive development among children (Fung, 2010). This means the modern day children are more exposed and enlightened unlike previous generations.
