Tool Nine
Globalization Assessment
This tool has several parts, be sure to include all the parts.
For the first part of this tool, establish where your organization currently operates. This should be reflected in a map with locations pinned or a list of countries where your organization currently operates.
Tool Nine – Part 1
Tool Nine – Second Part
Second purpose is to determine if your organization is considered global or not. Use the following wording to establish if your organization is or is not considered global.
“More or Less than 7% of revenues before interest and taxes are or are not acquired by foreign entities of the company, therefore Your Company is or is not an international company.”
Now, create a pie chart to reflect domestic vs. foreign revenue. Label your chart appropriately. Example:

In a narrative (which means paragraphs), answer the following:
1. Where should your company expand operations? Be specific, name a city and country you are not currently operating in.
2. Why did you choose that city? Be very detailed.
3. How should the company enter the new market (Form of Entry)? You should provide examples on how the company has successfully entered new markets in the past, then based on previous success, recommend they use one of the past successes to help plan for their future.
