Tomasito’s development has developed and greatly improved as a result of the time that he spends with his dad and Edward watching football. The supportive family has granted Tomasito a conducive environment where he is able to get what he wants and also have leisure to play Nintendo games with his friends. However, lack of an academic role model at home has negatively affected his masterly of mathematics unlike the other subjects. The misunderstanding with his mother after being embarrassed in school has however affected Tomasito’s moral and social development negatively.

Tomasito’s connection to his friends and his teachers motivates him to study as he feels appreciated and supported. The teachers’ compliments encourages Tomasito to take more homework which aids his understanding. Since he is noble and kind, his friends easily with him as they help each other in their classwork and leisure.

To optimize Tomasito’s mathematics performance, I would first highlight his weak areas and the areas he needs to improve on to boost his performance. I would also verify the challenges that Tomasito goes through at home when doing his assignments and math work and the help he might need to improve. On the parents, I would suggest that they allocate more time to Tomasito to help him in understanding the assignments and motivate him in working harder in mathematics.

The parents should learn the likes of the children and correct them soberly in case they go wrong. A definite communication channel should be created such that the parents can communicate their concerns as the children share their ideas with their parents. Communication bridges the gap between the involved parties and thus building a reciprocal relationship. Parents can send more time with their children and also consult from experts on how to get closer to their kids.
