Dear Mr. Riley.
I wish to convey my very warm regards for your interest in applying for a credit card with our trusted financial institution, Flash Express. Regrettably, the credit card department has laws that do not allow individuals under the age of 18, without an adult consigning the application. Alternatively, you could reapply for the card after you turn 18 years of age.
The reason we require the above people to sign with you is so that when you fail to make a payment that month, then your parent or guarantor will be responsible and make that payment for you. The requirement for you to have a guarantor is that you will be required to fill an additional supplemental form which I have enclosed here alongside a new credit card application form. The guarantor is required to sign both forms. Kindly fill out the forms and mention that you had previously applied for a credit card, this will aid in it been processed in minimal time. After filling out the forms, kindly return both the application and supplemental form directly to me.
On behalf of Flash Express, I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused you. Feel free to reach out to us for any question or concern you might be having.
Yours Sincerely,
Mary Oak line
Credit manager
