To create a lesson plan form and to evaluate your form. Scenario: You are a new teacher in a class of 2-year-olds. You have just finished your degree program and have lots of wonderful ideas about how to plan lessons for your class. Before you create your first lesson, your center director asks you to create your own lesson plan form that includes a few standard elements.

Your form should include an objective, a list of materials used, directions for the lesson, and the method of evaluation.

2. Review the assessment rubric to see how your assignment and self-evaluation will be graded.

For each element of your lesson plan form:

a. Explain how this element addresses the issues in the scenario.

b. Give evidence from the chapter supporting this element (with citations).

2. Describe and justify how your lesson plan form would improve teaching and learning in the scenario.
