Week 3 proper citation CAT REPLY to THIS thread only worth 1 reply for week 3 participation
Class, so this is about properly citing a reference. Please tell me what is wrong with this citation (not the content of the sentences, but the citation)
The paper will be discussing nurses. Nurses are "very smart people that learn through a variety of ways (Roberts, 2019)".
SHOW how to correct it... thanks

Learning that continues throughout one’s life is now considered obligatory for those who work in the nursing profession. Learning should be a continuous process for nurses, this means that they should always learn new thing everyday and research on new ways of improving nursing care. Continuing education, also known as ongoing professional development (CPD), makes it possible for professionals to refresh and upgrade their abilities in health care settings. While lifelong learning can be associated with professional development it can also be part of what one learns at work either practically or theoretically (Thomas, 2018). There is evidence that adequate numbers of well-educated nurses working in acute care areas can reduce the risk of patient mortality, although the evidence for this is confined to studies in high income countries and the evidence is not sufficiently robust to draw up definitive nurse: patient ratios (Coster, Watkins and Norman, 2018). There is also moderate evidence that well trained nurses can produce health outcomes that are equivalent to those of doctors for patients with a range of chronic health problems, particularly for those patients managed in primary care, and that nurse-led care may be more effective than medical care in promoting patient adherence to treatment and patient satisfaction. Nurses A Christian worldview is not just one’s personal faith expression that enables nurses to value their patients and treat them with respect as Gods creation but it is a belief system that helps them to align themselves with God (the creator). Christian world view help nurses to be empathetic and feel for their patients while treating them with dignity. Valuing and. respecting life allows the nurses to improve patient outcomes.

Nursing like many careers requires lifelong learning. Medicine is making advancements every day and we must stay on top of these advancements in order to provide the best care to our patients. Evidence based practice is at the route of this. Can you imagine if we never started washing our hands before and after patient care? I imagine our population wouldn't be where it is at today. A study conducted in nine countries throughout Europe demonstrated that units with a higher percentage of BSN prepared nurses was related to 7% decrease in mortality over a 30-day readmission period (Thomas, 2018). I found this information very intriguing. probably because i can't tell you how many times I have told someone I was back in school to obtain my BSN and their response is always "Why? You don't get paid anymore, it's pointless". For me this data validates the reason I am in school to further my degree-so the patients I take care of benefit from it. Looking at a nurse in the real world i could not tell the difference between an ADN prepared RN or a BSN prepared RN. However, I have noticed a shift in me and the way I think about things, such as patient flow on the unit, the way I precept and the leadership qualities in everyone. Without being in school I'm not sure I would've come to those realizations. So, therefore, I do agree with the importance of being a BSN prepared nurse.
Nurses caring with a Christian worldview will improve patient outcomes because, of their way to have courage during difficult situations by remaining honest and truthful to the patient and their families; By doing this the patient will build a strong rapport of trust with the nurse (Mississippi College Online, 2020). Christians are also accepting of all and do not judge if the patient is made aware of this they will be more likely to be truthful when it comes to any history that some may consider risqué- this could lead to life saving care for the patient.

By equipping nurses with the knowledge and skills they need to provide high-quality care, advanced nursing education and ongoing training can help improve patient outcomes. Patients who are cared for by nurses with higher levels of education fare better than those who are cared for by nurses with lower levels of education, according to recent studies. This study shows that nurses with graduate degrees can enhance patient protection and care quality.
This study is consistent with my own findings. Because it equips nurses with the knowledge and skills, they need to provide high-quality care, I believe that advanced nursing education and lifelong learning can assist in improving patient outcomes. By giving nurses a biblical perspective on healthcare, I believe that the Christian Worldview can assist improve patient outcomes. A better understanding of healthcare from a biblical viewpoint, as presented by the Christian worldview, can lead to better health results for patients (Aiken, 2020).
Everyone has worth and dignity since they are made in God's image, as the Bible teaches. Taking this stance can help nurses treat their patients with the dignity and care they deserve by remembering that they, too, are human beings made in God's image. All humans, the Bible says, are sinful and in need of redemption.
