Instructional Plan Part 1

For the past few years, the consumption of bhang in the country has increased therefore contributing to the cases of social issues amongst the teenagers. The continued use of bhang in the country has introduced negative impacts to the society as large numbers of the young people have ended up dropping from their learning institutions. The cases of school drop outs have increased as a result of the decline in the performance of the teenagers. However, an effective plan should be introduced in the country for the purposes of ensuring that the welfare of the people is observed and safeguarded. An effective learning program should be brought in the country so as to ensure that the transformation of the teenagers is achieved. This will ensure that the young people acquire knowledge on how they should avoid the use of Marijuana. The learning programs to be used should provide peer counselling for the purposes of ensuring that the use of the drugs in the country is used and the teenagers encouraged to work for the success of their country as well as their families (Lee, 2021).

Description of the problem

Cannabis use is among the many problems experienced by large numbers of teenagers in the country. The problem has been facilitated by increased cases of peer influence as well as the negative effects of social media experienced in the country. According to reports, the use of Marijuana in the country has increased therefore reducing the performance of the learners in different institutions. The reports are clear that the use of marijuana by the teenagers has brought in place health problems to them hence making it hard for them to perform different tasks as expected. For this problem to be addressed, a community education program should be used therefore ensuring that the teenagers are enabled to avoid the use of the drug. The enrolment of the young people to this program will again ensure that they acquire skills which are important in their growth and development. However, this will improve the coordination of the young people hence ensuring that they are able to perform their tasks without manipulations.

The setting of the problem

The education program should be used in an effective way as it will ensure that a sustained recovery of the teenagers is enhanced. For the success of the program to be achieved, experts should be employed. The experts will provide the needed skills in ensuring that the transformation and full recovery of the young people is achieved in the shortest time possible. However, I will ensure that awareness is created in the society hence motivating the government to contribute to the program. During the program, I will ensure that the young people are informed of the negative effects of Bhang and the measures they should apply to avoid its use. Moreover, the teenagers will be informed of the benefits of avoiding peer influence in the activities they carry out. This will bring about positive impacts to them therefore enabling them to make informed decisions for the success of their lives. The teenagers should be educated of their role in the society. Through that they will take responsibility of their lives hence avoiding engaging in activities which might ruin them (Parmar, 2021).

Purpose and goal of education

The purposes and the goal of the community education program to the teenagers are to ensure that the young people are provided with knowledge and creative ways of thinking. It is through that whereby they will be enabled to avoid the use of the drugs for the purposes of ensuring that they take part in the development of their lives. The education program will again play important roles in ensuring that awareness is created to the teenagers as a way of ensuring that they understand the negative effects of drug and substance use. The new knowledge acquired as a result of the education program will ensure that the young people are able to educate the other members of the public the manner in which they should avoid the use of marijuana. The goal of the education is again to prepare the teenagers for engaged citizenship hence ensuring that they contribute to the success of their country.

Description of the learner/learners and learning needs assessment

For the use of marijuana in the country to be reduced, learning needs assessment is required. This will be achieved by ensuring that gap analysis method, knowledge and skills test and self assessment are utilized in ways which ensures that the problem is addressed accordingly. It is through the learning needs assessments whereby large numbers of the young people will undergo complete transformations therefore contributing to the growth of the country’s economy. Moreover, the learners will make an effective use of self assessment to determine the changes they have undergone. Through that, the cases of use of bhang in the society will be reduced effectively.

Facilitators and barriers to learning

The learning experiences different facilitators which have motivated the stakeholders in an effective manner. Some of the facilitators of the program include support by volunteer groups and willingness of some teenagers to enroll in the program. On the other hand, the community education program has experienced unnecessary obstacles which have made it hard for the learners to achieve the needed knowledge. Some of the barriers to learning include resistance from the members of the public, lack of government support and financial constraints. The resistance from the members of the public has led to a reduced enrollment of the affected teenagers. This has been contributed by the lack of knowledge on how the learning will benefit the teenagers. The learning experiences lack of support by the government. However, this has contributed to reduced resources in the facilities. Finally, financial constraints in the facilities have reduced the performance of the institutions.

Desired behavioral learning outcome

The desired behavioral learning outcome expected from the learning program is health enhancing behaviors which enable the learners to use the substances which enhance their health. The health enhancing behaviors will therefore enable them to avoid the use of drugs which might contribute negatively to their health.

Conclusion

Finally, the teenagers should be motivated inn ensuring that they join the different learning institutions in the country due to the fact they will acquire ideas which will contribute positively to their development. It is the role of the government to ensure that the learning program is implemented hence ensuring that the lives of the teenagers are safeguarded and the future of the country enhanced. The implementation of the learning program will again empower the young people therefore making it easy for them to come up with ideas which contribute to the growth and the development of their country (Seo, 2021).
