1）my name is Claire and I was 28 years old. I was born in America and grow up in California. I was the housewife because my husband doesn’t want even though I was graduate from the college and have ability to find a job. Richard and I have a lovely boy.i am very logical and clever. I study very hard in college and get very high gpa.

2）It’s a weekday morning at 8:30AM, Claire woke up and just got acquainted with the environment. Claire sits on the bed with her lower torso covered by a fluffy blanket. Claire sits on the bed and talks with Richard for a little while. The bedroom door is open and there’s the dining room outside. We live here but Claire has amnesia so it’s new to her. I can see a table, a man standing in front of me, a closet, two nightstands, a mirror on the nightstand, a handmade book and a few lilies in a vase as well. I can hear birds chirping, cars passing by occasionally, lawn mowing. I can smell flowers, the smell of tide pods on my clothes. It’s July 13rd in the summer of 2020, 8:30 am. Because it’s during a global pandemic and my job at the hospital is crucial so I have to go to work everyday.

3）Richard is debriefing Claire about what’s going on and how Calire can cope with the situation. Claire then asked about things that are never asked before and it made Richard kind of uncomfortable recollecting memories from the past. So Richard is using the excuse to evade Claire’s questions. They are happily married for more than a decade but Claire's developed psychogenic amnesia two years ago. So you experience memory loss every morning but have fantastic ability to deal with enormous information within her time awake. This morning is no exception. However, Claire asked a question that is never been asked before: what led to her medical condition? Richard feels sorry for what happened to Claire and couldn’t deal with the fact that she lost all the memories they shared. Each day, Richard seeks self-salvation from taking good care of her, but each morning is unbearably torturing for him because he has to relive the day she lost her memories and has to deal with the fainting hope of her memory recovery.

4）They are happily married and have a son. Before Claire's condition, they are really satisfied with their life together. They met at a party of a mutual friend and hit it off. They got married shortly after their initial date and have been that way bc they think they are each other’s soul mate. Richard is not eloquent while Claire is articulate. They are both kind people have wants a steady, simple and happy life with each other.
