.Article/Research Project: This(assignment) project, which should be formatted like an annotated bibliography, is designed to encourage reading current research about adolescent literature that explore issues that are of interest today. The research may be of use for the analysis paper on Book “FEVER 1793, Laurie Halse Anderson.” Find three scholarly articles published in the last five years. Include the correct bibliographic information using MLA formatting (8thedition) and a summary of each article. The 3 Summaries should each be approximately 50 words long. Two journals that often specialize in adolescent literature are ALAN Review, Journal of Adult and Adolescent Literacy, and English Journal, NCTE’s journal focusing on secondary English language arts. You may, find articles of interest in some other educational journals as well, including Voices from the Middle, NCTE’s journal focusing on middle grades. ALAN Review has a free archive of editions from two years ago and prior; the other journals are available online.

For this project, you will need a classic novel with an adolescent protagonist, a book-length non-fiction text suitable for adolescents, a YA book that translates and focuses on a current issue. The first section is an introduction to the novel with the goal being to help generate discussion and provide background on the author, story, and time period of the book.

Make certain to use MLA form and include a Works Cited page. The paper should be 2-3 pages long. Do not summarize the

Literature (book). Assume that the reader has read the book.

Also submit a synopsis of your paper with a question or two.
