· We will use descriptive research method to analyze and solve problems in our market. Descriptive market research focuses on data about target market. We can get accurate data by surveys and analysis.

· If we can analyze market potential with descriptive research data, we can accurately understand market size and market potential for our business.

· We will use surveys to see customer’s aspects to define right problem in our descriptive market research.

· At the end, we will try to convert dilemmas to research questions. We believe other people’s aspects and accurate information will help us built our research questions.

•Types of data required and why (primary, secondary)

· Primary data is required for our market research and industry. We directly need data from customers to understand their satisfaction about our products.

· We are in restaurant industry therefore we should make research about customer preferences. We need primary data directly from customers therefore we need data from focus group, surveys, and interview to understand costumer reaction and satisfaction about our products.

•Where is this data best to be found and how will the data be gathered (library, surveys, interviews)

· As we mentioned, our required data need to be found directly from customers. We believe interviews are the best choice to understand customer preferences because we can directly communicate with customer to understand customer aspects.

•Which types of research will be used: survey, interviews, focus groups, and/or observational and WHY?

· Interview, focus group, and survey will be used for our descriptive market research.

· Interview will allow us get information from customer.

· Focus group method will allow us analyze data about our products with different aspects. These eight to twelve people’s discussion might make us find better tastes for our products because when two different aspects interact each other, they might create new ideas.

· Surveys will give us overall information about customer’s aspect.

•Explain how the choice(s) are: Valid and Reliable

· These three types of data are reliable and valid because they are showing customer’s data in three phases. We will collect direct information, overall information, and discussed information with new ideas. We believe if we follow these three types of data monthly, our data will be reliable and valid for our business.
