Hello class, 

It is important to have a firm understanding of all information systems because, really can make you a professional and better outstanding healthcare provider. It also may show how much patience you have and how involved you are about your job as a healthcare worker. Information systems are used to keep track of patients medical history throughout their time of care. It is very very very important to understand all information systems to keep everyone happy and safe.try to avoid errors as much as possible you have to be extra careful. As different as one information system is from another they work together by understanding there place healthcare providers and care teams must have access to the patient health records and they also provide orders. They collect all data on patients as well.They can also work together with the medication I am pretty sure that the all may can send the patients medication out to their pharmacy. They all should have a key card that they can scan to be able to send anything out.
