Three Strategies
Individual: This refers to actions that an individual person (not a business or other organization), subjected to the surveillance, can take to mitigate it.
Technological: This refers to actions that involve changing how a technology works, or creating a new technology. This type of action would generally be undertaken by an organization such as a company or perhaps an individual developer.
Social: This refers to actions that seek to make a social change. This might be in the form of laws, or it might be in the form of social norms and expectations.
