The perspective of the writing plays an integral role in crafting the voice of the writing, modulating between emic and etic perspectives (Onwuegbuzie & Johnson, 2006). When writing, the audience is not always aware of the material that is being covered. In order to alleviate any confusion that the reader may have it is imperative to not mix points of views, therefore writing strictly in third person will eliminate any room from reader error. In regards to writing there are three forms of writing known as first person, second person and third person. In academic writing third person is the most preferred style of writing, because third person style of writing enhances the credibility of writing.
