Thesis Statement:

The “Gospel of Wealth” described the responsibility of philanthropy by new upper class of self-made rich which brought change in the living situation between millionaire and laborer and proclaimed that labor had a right to demand higher wage and richer had a responsibility to give money to poor to support their families. It influenced American millionaires to understand the importance of philanthropy and entrust philanthropic organizations like libraries, school and hospitals etc. and give money to them.
