Determination of The Genotype.

Results:

DNA Replication and PCR similarities:

DNA Replication and PCR differences:

Both involves a template strand.

The reason for each step of PCR:

· Step1: heat up to 95 degree.

· Step2:

· Thermal cycler cools down to 50 degree.

· Step3: change the temperature to 72 degree.

· Step4: the same 3 steps were repeated.

· Step5: desired products begin to appear.

· Cycle four.

Discussion:

The purpose of this study is to determine the PTC genotype. The two most common alleles differ is PAV and AVI. In our experiment for this study the results show that without DNA cells could not reproduce and the high heat may kill cells. For each person, its necessary to have fresh micropipette tips because when the plunger pressed again, the liquid is dispensed. In figure2, in each step of PCR are important. By using PCR, DNA sequence can be amplified a lot of times producing enough DNA copies. Furthermore, PCR requires a DNA polymerase enzyme that makes new standard of DNA. While complementary base pairing is necessary in this study, which it is the bond between genuine and cytosine.
