Data Mining- XLMiner

The purpose is to use current data about COVID-19 cases to predict hospital capacity and medical staff needs for future covid-19 infection rates. I already have my data.

Please note that the data should be REAL – that is, it should not be simulated data. It should contain no less than 5 variables (although if you have an interesting data set in mind that has fewer variables, we can discuss it as a special case). Unless your project purpose is qualitative in nature, the response variable should be quantitative. Please remember that a larger data set allows for richer analysis.

Please list the data mining methods you plan to use . You may have to fit some exponential function, there are numerous sources online.

1. There should be a clear, concise description of the data mining process. Each project is different, but the report should include (but not necessarily be limited to):

a. The goal of the project.

b. A description of the data, how you got it, and any data modeling/exploratory analysis you did.

c. The methods you choose, and why these methods are appropriate for the goal of the project.

d. Your results and your conclusions. You should support your results and conclusions with exhibits as needed.

e. A discussion about the results
