you have great secondary sources.  I would ask what stories did you read directly to come up with your thesis statement?  Can you integrate specific stories you analyzed yourself into your paper. With the formal papers you want to balance your own analysis of the story (or stories) in the case of this paper with secondary sources (what other people are saying about the work or the author's life). You need both. You should be listing the short stories you also chose to read with the secondary sources on your Works Cited page.
