RESEARCH METHODS UNIT VII ASSGNMNT

The paper due in this week is worth 13% of your final grade.  That means it can help you improve up to a full letter grade if you do well on it.  Below you will find information about how I will use the Rubric to grade your assignment.  Take a few minutes and review the Rubric (you can find it in the Study Guide) and look at my annotations below.

 

Table of Contents (10 points) A table of contents is present with correct formatting; all headings align with those in the paper, and page numbers are correct.

 

Introduction (10 points) Engages the reader in the topic with some form of creative “hook” (such as a story, quote, example, etc.) and provides a clear background for the topic so that readers can gain an understanding of the purpose of the paper.

 

Tasks (20 points) All areas of the assigned tasks are addressed.

 

Research Method (15 points) The research method is justified by similar and recent studies and confirmed via statistical analysis.

 

Result and Summary (15 points) All data is recorded and organized clearly. A summary is present that reviews or summarizes key points and provides a smooth transition between sections.

 

Writing Mechanics (10 points) You are a graduate student, and as such, you should earn maximum points here. 

 

Style and Formatting (10 points) You are a graduate student, and as such, you should earn maximum points here. 

 

Citations and References (10 points) You are a graduate student, and as such, you should earn maximum points here.
