This time it's just revision, and the addition of a short you-get-full-credit-for-doing-it re�ection

paragraph in which you talk about what this project has been like for you.  We hope you'll feel

empowered to make your work beautiful, clean, and something you're super proud of.

To be eligible for a grade, your work must be submitted as a pdf �le to the

correct assignment folder. We do not accept assignments by email.  If you

experience a technical dif�culty with your upload, contact the 24/7 IT

Support Desk and document that contact.  Then notify Amy

The Paper Assignment

The amount of time this assignment will take depends on how much revision

you're doing.  We recommend setting aside at least one 45 minute session

for revising.

Revise your Step 4 as needed based on the assessment you received, and update your Change Log to

re�ect your revisions.

After revising, add a section titled re�ections.   Think about this project, and your experience with it. 

Write a few sentences (as much or as little as you'd like) addressing questions like these: What do

you feel like you learned in this process?  What was most or least valuable about the project?  What

surprised you?  What, if any, are the transferable skills you learned or practiced in this project?

Your �nal paper should have this structure:

Page 1: Title page (updated with the correct date, an accurate title, and an updated honor

footnote)

Page 2: Change Log

Pages 3-?:  Introduction, Core Vocabulary, Phonemic Inventories, Phonotactics and Rhythm,

Complex Words, Simple Sentences, Question Formation, and Pragmatics, and Re�ections

sections.

Last Page:  References.

Revised content is assessed based your demonstrated mastery of course concepts, as well as your

effective use of both self-directed and (if applicable) instructor-directed revision.  For this reason,

assessment of your revised content crucially depends on your Change Log.  If you fail to note a

change in your log, you are unlikely to earn credit for it. 

Your re�ections section will earn full credit if it exists, and no credit if it doesn't. 

What if I missed the previous steps? Students who were not able to submit the previous assignment for a grade should:

Note in the Change Log that there is no instructor-directed revision because of the miss.
