Complete your research paper works cited 'rough draft' and post it as a Word document attachment. The works cited page must list a total of '2' journal articles--literary analysis journal articles. This is a 'practice' works cited page and should be based on two journal articles obtained from the HCC Library online databases. Find two journal articles based on one of the 'approved' research paper short story readings. Refer to the research paper topic handout posted in the document sharing list in mywritinglab. Log onto mywritinglab; then click on 'student tools'; then click on 'document sharing'; and then scroll down the list to find the research paper handouts. These two research paper sources (full text scholarly journal articles) must be placed in alphabetical order based on the first letter of each entry. 

Include a header and a centered title (Works Cited), and you need to use double spacing, courier new 12 point font, and MLA style (do NOT include a four line heading on this document); refer to the Research Paper checklist handout posted in mywritinglab for a detailed description of the Works Cited page. You also need to refer to the sample Works Cited page posted in mywritinglab.

Be sure to 'attach' your Word file in the designated mywritinglab assignment dropbox since part of your grade is your formatting and how well you use the MLA style guidelines. To submit your work, you need to click on the ‘Upload a file’ tab at the top of the instructions box.You may wish to get an early start on this assignment to avoid potential technological problems which may arise such as Internet outage, computer functions, etc. Therefore, completing this work one or two days in advance would benefit you. The date and time of your submission will be recorded in my MyWritingLab Online Gradebook. No late submissions will be accepted so plan your time accordingly.

This assignment is a 'practice' assignment so you are not required to choose the Anderson reading for your research paper. Students will choose two readings from the approved 6 research paper readings as the focus of their papers.
