It focuses on the basics of Human resource to ensure that it has a perfect outlook on the way it handles its employees on a daily basis (Boudreau & Ramstad, 2017). Starbucks has succeeded in applying the cross-cultural approach because it operates in different parts of the world leading to both positive and negative experiences about the practices of certain members of the society. The aspect works positively for the image of the company as it manages to remain competitive despite of the challenges.

The Human Resource team of the company is keen on capitalizing on cultural responsiveness. This is a factor that is deeply embedded in understanding the cultural practices of respective communities and coming up with proactive ways of ensuring that they are respected (Jackson & Schuler, 2016). The capitalization of commodities such as coffee with respect to the perception that the society has towards the product is essential. The aspect facilitates a smooth communication framework with the stakeholders in the company with respect to culture.

As an established company, the company has respective value that play an important part in elaborating the relevance of the practice within the society, which is highly essential and important to evaluate, based on its importance on the overall outlook of the company. The values of the companies are already established and universal creating an easy framework of application that would favor the interest of the company (Boudreau & Ramstad, 2017). Communicating it using appropriate channels such as memos, trainings and meetings is a key matter of concern that is positively considered.

The level of individual uniqueness within Starbucks is a key aspect of concern that positively address the interest of the company towards its employees. The independence involved in performing the daily tasks is a key value that the company considers. This is a key HR value of the company that enables it to further advance the career of its employees in a positive way that represents the interest of the company in a positive way. It is a key aspect that needs to utilize in a regular basis to enable the company to have a perfect operational position within the market.

The application of evidence-based strategies is a key point of concern for Starbucks HR department. This is because employee welfare is a vital element that needs to be fulfilled in a positive way regarding the positive contributions that they make to the company. The activity entails the integration of critical decisions and data driven analysis to give support to the mission, vision and goal of the company that are important to achieve.

The company is keen at ensuring that it adapts to the technologies that are appropriate to improve the operations. The aspect comes in term of service delivery in terms of order taking (Jackson & Schuler, 2016). The application of management technologies such as record keeping, and marketing is an important aspect that the company is keen at utilizing based ion the operational benefits that comes from such initiatives.

Protecting the integrity of the business, its employees, and its management practices through appropriate risk management and legal and ethical practices

With a mission of "To inspire and nurture the human spirit — one person, one cup and one neighborhood at a time" the protection of the company integrity is a key matter of concern. The process comes with the management of the employee affairs based on the fact that they are the image of the company and the company needs to ensure that they are protected at all costs which is an important matter of concern (Ulrich et al., 2014). The protection of the management practices and the employees using the appropriate ethical practices, legal and risk management framework is a key issue that is positively considered. This is based on the strategies that would be in place within the company to ensure that order and coordination is put into practice.

Adhering and understanding the rules and regulations that are applicable in the industry that they operate in is essential. Starbucks operates within the hospitality industry that has strict rules and regulations pertaining to customer service and health (Ulrich et al., 2014). It is the duty of the HR to ensure that the employees adhere to the practices and ensure that appropriate corrective actions are taken into considerations if the company fails to meet up the outlined expectations.

This is based on the fact that the team would play an important part in the identification of any potential risk and come up with a proactive way of ensuring that the risk is appropriately handled and mitigated before it could cause any harm to the company operations within any part of the globe.

Build engaging relationships with stakeholders through trust, teamwork, and direct communication

The company ensures that the customer service sector meets up the expectations of the market. The initiative entails the creation of an online framework that facilitates regular interaction with the customers within the market (Ulrich et al., 2014). Having a clearly defined operational unit that is focused on addressing the customer needs within the premises is perfect. The other practice is having a customer service number that the customers can use to communicate on their needs is also important.

The creation of the communication channel is an activity that depends on the operational skeptics that the company is willing to abide by to promote positive practices that focuses on the interest of the company. The use of oral communication through the office is one of the preferred methods. The other aspect entails the use of emails to ensure that perfect communication takes place on a regular basis (Jackson & Schuler, 2016). The last critical aspect entails the use of social media to enhance positive communication frameworks within the company that is highly essential and important for the company to observe.
