• Was there a review of existing forms?
• Were procedures observed?
• Were data models used to describe the needs of the new system?
• Were there any problems encountered in trying to identify user needs?
• How was the system designed? Who was involved with design of the system?
• Were data models or other models used to design the system?
• How was the system tested before being implemented? Did any problems surface during testing? If so, what were the problems and how were they resolved?
• How was the training program for end users developed? What did training consist of? How long did training take?
• How is the system now maintained?
• If you were to acquire another system, what would you do differently and why? • What advice do you have for a new healthcare professional regarding systems analysis, design, and implementation?
