ASSIGNMENT
The following is the scenario for this journal entry:
Imagine for a moment that you are visiting with a grandparent or another elderly person you may know and trust. You share with him or her what you are up to, including taking this course. Your acquaintance says that they remembers their father talking about working in a factory in Toronto in the early 1900's. The work conditions at that time were difficult and everyone talked about unionization. You press for more information but your friend does not remember much more. This story peaks your interest and you decide to do more research.
In your first journal entry write a 350-400 word entry on what working conditions and unionization efforts were like in the early 1900's in Canada. Make sure to cite your references.
