Test Report

The test report below is separated into two sections. The top of the report contains (labeled A in Figure 11.7) the norm-referenced test results. Each test subtest is listed in the column titled TESTS AND TOTAL. The next two columns provide the number of items on each subtest as well as the number of items this student answered correctly in each (i.e., her raw scores, labeled 1 in the figure). The next column (which is unlabeled in the figure) contains the scaled score for this particular test. The next column, titled National PR-S and labeled 2 contains important norm-referenced information. The PR (i.e., the first number) represents the percentile rank and the S (i.e., the second number) represents the stanine score. The last graphic on the right side of the table (labeled 3 in the figure) presents the national percentile bands for the 68% confidence level. The second section at the bottom of the page (labeled B) contains the criterion-reference information for Elizabeth. For each content cluster, there are three numerical values provided: RS is the raw score, NP is the number of possible items, and NA is the number of items attempted.
